PERSONALITY sophia spends most of her efforts trying to keep her nose clean. not because she has much to fear, but because she values a stability upheld by personal responsibility. (or a personal cowardice) she's extremely empathetic and helpful towards those who seek her assistance, but she's not usually willing to put herself out there for anyone but her closest friends. she can come off as polite to the point of being a little clinical towards those whom she finds difficult to read. once someone has her word, however, she will see her promises to the end. ABILITIES she went to business school for undergraduate, which means she has a lot of specialty in management and accounting. she spent a lot more time in statistics classes than she did actually getting shitfaced like you're supposed to smh. she also speaks college level spanish semi-proficiently. she probably won't make native speakers cry. oh fuck you meant talents. uh. reading residues - locked for now. | HISTORY she lives a life free of excess. an excess of truth. an excess of lies. an excess of kindness. an excess of cruelty.sophia was born to a stable family until her father left to remarry. her stepfather had been reasonably supportive. her mother had been kind. her older brother had been a sickly child's final line of defense against schoolyard injustice. she had her first blackout when she was nine years old. the doctors didn't know why, but she ended up losing years of her memory. her mother became a helicopter parent in the face of a mystery that nobody could understand. the block has essentially prevented her from manifesting any magic since. never once have the conditions for bypassing it been met. sophia left high school as the homecoming queen and university in the top quarter. she struggled as much as any normal girl would in her position, but her life is ultimately a rewarding one. her office space in the firm is vacuumed every tuesday. her beloved half-sisters skype her when calculus gets the better of them. she is a patron to sephora, rather than a slave to it. she earned everything that she has (down to her beauty insider points). except for a peace that was merely on loan. sophia doesn't know that. with a bit of cosmic kindness, she never will. overruled.
